Are you willing to do the work, to get the birth you want?

Hi, I’m Clancy,

I’m a Birth mentor, birth witness, and mother.

I’m a perpetual seeker of personal evolution and growth.

I’m committed to expressing my human potential in all its shades, and supporting you to do the same.

I know the continuum of preconception, pregnancy, birth, pregnancy loss, and motherhood, changes us deeply. I revere these life altering transitions and honour the multidimensional facets of your passage through these transformative times.

Peaceful, primal, biological, loving birth is the revolution our world needs, now.

How can I support you?

I’m a Birth Mentor and Birth Keeper for women seeking a sacred experience of birth that’s free, primal, and undisturbed.

I walk with you through a holistic framework so you can do the inner work to liberate yourself from the system, and express your ecstatic birthing potential.

I hold space for you to recover your inner authority and voice, and remember your innate birthing wisdom and power, to experience birth as a joyous initiation to mothering.

The potent threads of self-discovery that you unearth through the work we do together, helps you transform your birth, and your life.

Kind words

We had some really big shifts in energy and some healing moments after our session on Sunday! We had the best afternoon, we were all relaxed and in harmony, it was beautiful. We are definitely feeling a lot more confident and I was actually able to dream/visualise a healing ecstatic homebirth for the first time Sunday night <3

Thank-you for all your support!

— Lisa (birth mentoring and postnatal support).

Clancy gave me her endless and valuable time, knowledge and experience. She knew the physical, spiritual and mental journey it would take for me to birth my baby at home...gently, calmly and undisturbed. Her support was invaluable for both my partner and I.
Clancy you are a beautiful, caring and undeniably special woman. You were my rock and I quite simply could not have done it without you.

— Sheree (birth support and mentoring).

Thank you Clancy, it was such a wonderful experience. I can’t thank you enough as this has been a highlight of my pregnancy so far! Your education has helped me connect with my baby and my birth (where I have complete choice and power!).

— Karina (Yoga for Empowered Birth (online course)).

My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Clancy for the birth of our baby girl. She has really found her calling and was such an incredible support to us. She has so much knowledge about all things related to birth and her guidance was invaluable to us. We can’t thank her enough for all of her love and support during such a momentous time in our lives.

Nothing lights me up and holds my interest in all the multi-faceted ways that birth does.

Let’s back-track to how I came to be here, supporting women in birth...

It was 2015. During my pregnancy, I became fascinated with birth – especially natural birth. I was seeking a natural, empowered, home, water birth. I wanted to tick all those boxes.

Throughout the entire pregnancy, I had this inkling — that I would end up working in birth. But, I felt it could just be a phase that would pass after my baby was born. I decided to wait till I had my baby in my arms and then consider whether ‘the call’ to birth work was still there. Months after I gave birth, the desire, urge and passion for birth was still tapping me on the shoulder, stronger than ever. I couldn’t ignore it. I completed a doula training in April 2017. I got my first client a week later, and began attending births.

I was also asked to teach prenatal yoga when my babe was 6 months old. I adored being around pregnant women every week. This was a great reminder that I was on the right path.

Birth work is in my blood and bones. My great great grandmother was a midwife who travelled around the Duckenfield areas of NSW on her horse and cart to be with birthing women. Mary-Jane Shields, or MJ, as I like to refer to her, was a rebel, she had her first child very young, out of wed-lock which in those days was obscene! I imagine dear MJ as a great feminist and advocate for women. Given my ancestry, I’m claiming it was inevitable that I’d be drawn to this work.

Preparing for the passages of birth and motherhood is a multidimensional experience.

Birth happens in our bodies.

A truly instinctive, biological process, and journey of letting go.

Unlearning our programming and conditioning is a huge part of preparing, as well as embodiment and cultivating your instinct.

We meet new parts of ourselves in birth and in our parenting journeys.
